The impact ecosystem has produced several innovations in the field of financing mechanisms, mainly to blend different sources of capital and to shift the procurement focus from inputs to measurable outcomes. An experienced panel will take stock and share learnings of mechanisms such as social impact bonds and current rapidly growing innovations such as "impact linked finance" mechanisms.

This session will give you an interactive introduction on the topic, while showcasing the learning journey of a social enterprise. Practice and theory will be shared to get started with impact measurement, to maximize impact and business opportunities along the way. You will also get an overview on the learning opportunities on the topic.
2pm to 3:30pm
Financing for impact is about trying to solve pressing social problems by means of disruptive social innovations. Failure is natural in an environment where experimentation and creativity are core values. Transparency is key to understand what works or not to foster the scaling up of impact finance. Organisations that encourage intelligent failures though deliberate experimentation can achieve the greatest results, and organisations that share their failures help the sector move forward.
4pm to 5:30pm
In collaboration with our research partner, EVPA, and supported by the King Baudouin Foundation and Triodos Bank, we have been working to estimate the size of the BE impact investing market. We will share datas and insights from asset owners, asset managers and industry stakeholders to develop a picture of where the market is today. Our report is the culmination of these efforts and will be used as a baseline for the IF Belgium strategy for the years to come.
4pm to 5:30pm
At the bottom-line of this session : how companies and finance can pave the way to improve the lives of people and the planet? By sharing expertises and visions we will build the roadmap to strengthen the impact ecosystem. What are the key success factors to boost it? What are the challenges? How to bridge more financial actors with promising and expanding companies? Explore with us and join the path!
